The New York Times: Wordle Review

I was commissioned by The New York Times to illustrate the weekly Wordle Review page for February. I had so much fun using my local community garden in Brighton as the source of inspiration for this, using pastel and paint to bring out the colours and textures of the plants and landscape. The brief was very open, but I had to make sure that my illustrations included spaces for 5 Wordle numbers to sit in the middle, so I used flowers, leaves and buildings to create these segments!
